You know, it's really annoying when applications that work on your personal desktop and test server fail horribly once they've been deployed to the production environment. So it looks like I get to spend at least part of this weekend trying to figure out what went wrong, and probably won't get to go to Cincinnati after all. Looking on the bright side, at least it will save me about $100 in gas, food, and hotel expenses.
I've been fishing around for a project to take on, but I'm really bad about starting stuff and then not finishing it. Still, I've been debating whether or not I should try writing a .NET note application similar to Tomboy for the GNOME environment. It could be a fun project, though I have absolutely no idea how to accomplish some of it. On the other hand, I've always kind of wanted to learn to write/use advanced text input controls, so it could be fun -- and what the heck, it beats sitting around watching TV.
Dude, why do you need hotel expenses in Cincinnati? Don’t you have a certain someone who can be your housing bitch there? I certainly do. And I do mean bitch. And I do insinuate it’s the same person. Just like you have a housing bitch in beautiful scenic Akron. Man, I’m drunk.
Well, that would be because said housing bitch was out of town that weekend. :)
